The Evolve project is organising a series of international on-line events and seminars.

The objectives are:

  • To provide a space for participant driven discussion and debate
  • To promote critical inquiry and discourse
  • To allow for the presentation of ideas in progress
  • To share expertise, ideas and future thinking around common research agendas

Themes

The events will be organised around a series of themes, with trigger resources for in depth discussion, designed to respond to current issues and developments in technology enhanced learning. Please check upcoming events for future themes!

Language

The main language of the events and seminars will be English. However, we welcome proposals for presentations in other languages.

Structure

We intend to experiment with different structures for different events. But for each there will be an introduction from an invited seminar leader and opportunities for participants to explore an share ideas.

Each event will also be supported by an online discussion area and with spaces for collecting different digital artifacts linked to that topic.

Call for presenters

We are seeking individuals or groups to lead an event / present small papers related with the monthly themes. How you choose to structure the event or seminar is open. Please email us if you are interested.

Venues & Platforms

The events and seminars will utilize a variety of different tools. These may include on-line video conferencing and a wiki unconferencing space as well as a discussion area and an online poster space.

There will also be a space for aggregating seminar products. You are encouraged to use different tools for creating aretfacts. You might, for instance want to take a short video and share it though YouTube or you might want to make a VoiceThread (http://www.voicethreads.com) presentation.
