 Having taught business studies at FE level for many years in the UK, I came to Denmark 15 years ago with only a contract to write a textbook about the EU. Since then I have become an English teacher specializing in technical English for local, and not so local companies. I was lucky to be taken on by an institution with the ambition and curiosity to explore e-learning and have been experimenting since 1998. In 2002 I joined the Webheads in Action group which encouraged me and gave me many ideas for embedding ICT in everyday practice. Now I am active in various educational projects which usually centre around language, intercultural competence and e-learning. I am co-host of the Absolutely Intercultural podcast and currently project manager of the VITAE project. |
