Was China’s earthquake triggered by a nuclear accident?
(Conspiracy Theory Time! It’s what the internet does best. Not saying it happened, not saying it didn’t, just doing my bit for the Fortean cause and pointing out a *theory*.)
More here.

syn syndicated stutterment
Okayyyy... don't know if this is a problem from the tumblr feed end or from the syndication widget at this end but I have sucked in a feed from tumblr and it's stut- stuttering... might we have a clue as to why this is? Also, what's with the pictures not showing up?
I have found that getting people started with tumblr is an excellent way of introducing people gently to blogging and RSS (oh, and thanks once again to Common Craft for their outstandingly good RSS explanation) ... Showing people Wordpress straight away scares the pants off people if they identify as 'non-techie'. I would be bummed if the feedage from tumblr was incompatable with the syndication widget.
Hi, I'm Tonia.
I break things.

Wot! No theme Customization?
I was teaching a bunch 3rd year BA Art Practice students 'Web Design'/Self Promotion at the University of Glamorgan this year. We used Ning as our virtual classroom (which worked quite well...) and I couldn't help but notice that pretty much the first thing that everyone did when they first logged in was made themselves at home.
It it a visual arts thing or is it more widespread?
